1-2-1 Tuition
We offer bespoke 1-2-1 tuition with our tutor, Liam, across many mediums and subjects, for those that are unable to join a class or want bespoke mentorship. Below are the areas that Liam has focused on with a number students he has mentored over the years, however it is by no means exhaustive.

Digital art
Liam uses digital art processes in his freelance work and with a number of students, teaching comics production, character design and digital painting and sketching in Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio and more.
Drawing development
The foundation of good art is a good drawing. Liam teaches a number of 1-2-1 students basic drawing skills, helping students and hobbyists alike develop their technique and knowledge of fundamental principles.
Oil portraiture Painting
Wether you want to learn an all prima approach or a more traditional Dutch-Flemish approach with multiple passes, Liam specialises in painting portraits in oils and passes on his knowledge to a number of 1-2-1 students.
Illustration
Liam works as a freelance illustrator, finding visual solutions and art directions for a number of clients. If you're interested in commercial art, a bespoke curriculum can be designed for you to follow.
Acrylic painting
A student of 20th century illustration Liam has learnt and developed a number of acrylic centric mixed media approaches that harken back to illustrators from the illustration golden age. Perfect for students wanting to explore their own creativity and develop their skills.
Character design
A big fan of monsters, robots, aliens and talking animals, one of Liam's passions is good character design! Whether using pencils or digital tools, Liam has a wealth of knowledge to share on the subject of creative character design.
