Learn all about the medium of oil paints and how to use them alla prima to create dynamic and exciting portraiture with amazing richness and depth of colour.

Learn how to use oil paints alla prima, transfer supplied sketches to primed boards and mix skin tones to work up your own personal portrait piece.

Every Oil Painting workshop has a shifting focus, from lighting to different types of skin tones, colour schemes and more so you'll always be learning something new! In this month's workshop, we'll look at how to capture the proportions of children's faces and how to show their youthfulness in your paintings.

All materials will be supplied including brushes (however if you would like to bring your own also, we recommend flats and filberts in a couple of sizes). no experience necessary. Booking is essential.
